Well folks, you are watching one of the great classics - the original 1971 'Johnny Wadd' (from the Johnny Wadd series). Though the production values suck, this is how I want to remember Holmes - lucid, engaged, and able to hold his own in a dramatic performance. He wasn't one of my favorite people but he certainly earned the title of 'king' during his reign from the late 60s to mid 70s. Though many think this nickname referred to his size (which was not even 9" at his peak), he earned the name for his quality and quantity of performances. Take coke out of the equation and Holmes was ok.
The woman here is Sandy Dempsey who did a great deal of softcore work with some hardcore squeezed in during the early 70s. A divorcee trying to make a living, she had amazing hair and a great body, but a face that showed some wear, even for her 35ish years at this point. She stood out from most of the early 70s women because she had actual acting value, whereas many could do little more than fuck and suck.
She was found floating off Gulf Shores in an oil drum in a murder that caused a number of people (including myself) to wonder if even the quasi-connection we had to mob money was worth the cash we made. As far as I know, her murder was unsolved.
